Budgewoi Dental

Financial Info

For the best oral health, dental care should never be delayed. We want all our patients to receive prompt dental services when they need them, not when they can afford them.

To help make our dental treatments more accessible, we strive to make our services as affordable as possible, and we provide a variety of payment methods and options.

Budgewoi Dental Payment Policy

We require payment in full on the day of the treatment. However, we do have payment plans available. If you are interested in setting up a payment plan, we invite you to contact our knowledgeable team.

Accepted Payment Methods

You have choices when it comes to paying for your dental services at Budgewoi Dental.

Our accept payment methods include:

  • Cash
  • Credit cards (Mastercard, Visa)

*Please be aware that a surcharge may be applied for credit card transactions.

Health Fund Claims Through HICAPS

With this payment method, we can make a claim on the spot. This is a simple and efficient payment processing option, which allows you to claim from your private health fund and Medicare from our practice. If you have private dental health insurance, please remember to bring your health insurance card with you to your visit. That way, we can make your claim immediately using HICAPS. This would mean you only pay the gap fee.

Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)

If you have children, we recommend seeing if they're eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS). This program allows eligible patients between 2 and 17 years of age access to up to one thousand dollars (AUD) in benefits for dental services received over two consecutive calendar years.

Health Funds and Payment Plans

We welcome all health funds and offer payment plans to make paying for your dental care as convenient as we can. If our payment options don't work for you, we may also refer you to a finance company that provides more flexible payment plan options. However, we're not affiliated with these institutions, so please select the company carefully and do your research beforehand.

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that a dental emergency can occur at any time, and we never want our patients to go without needed care. For that reason, we offer emergency dental appointments in our Budgewoi dental clinic.

Contact Budgewoi Dental in an Emergency

At Budgewoi Dental, we don’t want you to delay treatment during an emergency, which is why we’ve implemented procedures that allow us to book you into our dental clinic quickly for an emergency visit.

If you’re experiencing an emergency dental situation, like a broken tooth, a severe toothache, gum pain or a loss of a filling or dental crown, we recommend that you call us straight away. Our knowledgeable team can book your emergency appointment and offer advice immediately, guiding you on how to deal with your emergency until you reach our clinic.

If you’re not experiencing one of the emergency scenarios we mentioned, that doesn’t mean it’s not an emergency. Dental emergencies can vary widely and include other situations, like tooth infections and injuries. If you suspect it’s an emergency, we recommend that you call us.

Emergency Dental Treatment in Budgewoi

When you arrive at our Budgewoi dental clinic, our experienced and empathetic team, led by dentists Dr Sanjeev Mishra and Dr Hooman Atai, will assess your emergency and work quickly to make you comfortable. We know emergencies can be frightening, but we’re here to help, and we will do our best to relieve any fear or anxiety as we work to remedy your situation.

We invite you to contact us during your dental emergency for fast, efficient care and treatment.

We understand the apprehension and anxiety that comes with dental treatment. However, we never want anyone to feel uncomfortable. And we do our best to make every patient feel at ease in our clinic.

We use the most up-to-date dental techniques and equipment to create relaxing visits and procedures, and we offer sedation dentistry options when that’s not enough. We also provide in-chair entertainment to help patients overcome anxiety through distraction.

What Sedatives Are Available?

There are a variety of ways to make your visit more comfortable for you, including inhalation sedation and sedative medications in tablet, liquid or injection form. If you’re interested in being sedated during your dental procedure, we invite you to discuss your options with our dentists, Dr Sanjeev Mishra and Dr Hooman Atai.

Most sedatives make the patient tired but do not inhibit their ability to communicate with the dental team. Many of them won’t wear off for some time after treatment, which means you will need to have someone drive you to and from your dental appointment since you will not be able to operate a vehicle yourself.

Sedation Dentistry in Budgewoi

We provide sedation dentistry options for both children and adults to make our patients feel more confident and secure in their dental visits. With no need for anxiety, you can have the best experience possible at Budgewoi Dental.
